My new 1997 Double Ear!!!!

WOW, I could not believe it! I had recently posted a 1997 Double ear I had found in May I believe. I was happy with my find, but at the time needed a little extra cash and sold it on Fee-Bay for a Hundie. Now this sale has recently started to bug me, because 1. I thought it was worth more, 2. I really would have liked to have kept it. Today, I happen to stop at my local Beer store and asked if I could buy a couple of rolls. Today, I had left earlier with some chores to do and did not make it to the bank. So, it really makes me happy to find another one of these bad-devils in one of those rolls. I know it is not in MS-65 shape, but I will keep it and never sell it! TO THE WHITMAN WITH YOU!!!

congrats...i too look for those...and the 1984 doubled ear...and of course the 1992D close AM..and the DD 1969s would be the ultimate....I did find a 1969s today, no doubling in the numbers..only in the lettering slightly., anyway...congats again!

I've found a couple of them and sold one on ebay. I was also very disappointed with what I got for it.

 

I have not been able to find any of the double ears: 84, 97, or even the 06. I know they are out there and I will keep looking. Nice find!
