Isn't it incredible that some of this is still out there. I had a teller hand me a 53 about two months ago with 2 of the corners missing but I didn't care. Was just happy to get a red seal from circ. Also got a 1934a $20 from a teller one time. It was beat up but it totally made my day.
So far I have tried rubbing alcohol on it, no change. Tried nail polish remover on it, no change. I put the solvents on a q-tip and rolled it over the surface of the 6. Does the note have to soak it the solution?
Not ruining, practicing for my paper money PHD and using this one because of the red ink. Its like a cadaver. probably couldn't take 10 more folds before it ripped. I'll let you know how it goes. to be continued.......
