Uncut U.S. Currency Sheets

    Helping a friend sell these:

    $2 Star Sheet 1976 (16) Boston (A)

    $1 sheet of 32 19981 (32) Richmond (E)

    Would appreciate a ballpark figure for sale to a dealer.

    Hello and welcome to Coin Talk!

    Value varies from one collector to another but I imagine the 1976 $2 Star Sheet of Sixteen is worth around $150-200 ( HA ) in perfect condition and the 1981 $1 Sheet of Thirty-Two is worth around $55 in perfect condition.

    Check the back plate number on this one. There's a known engraving error on some of the 1981 sheets: If the back plate number is 3273, then one of the 32 notes (I forget which) will have that number incorrectly engraved as 7273. A sheet with that error is worth a substantial multiple of the common price....
