Who Is Collecting Presidential Spouse Gold Coins?

I hope to put together a complete set of the Presidential Spouse Gold Coins (Uncirculated & Proof). I got shut out on the Martha Washington and Abigail Adams coins but I was able to get two extra (Uncirculated & Proof) of the Jefferson Spouse coins and one each of the Dolley Madison coins. (I am hoping to find somebody that is willing to trade their Washington or Adams for my Jefferson so I can make a complete set.)

These are interesting coins. They are the first rotating series to feature women.

Total mintage is limited to 40,000 so you know there will be only a few thousand complete sets. For some reason the Mint is limiting Unc. and Proof to 20,000 each rather than taking orders as they come in and stopping when the total (Unc. + Proof) reaches 40,000. If they took all orders until the total reached 40k the Unc. would very likely have a lower mintage than the Proof (because more people generally order the Proof), but that's another thread.

Is anybody else collecting these Spouse coins?

I collect circulating coinage, e.g., business strikes.
These definitely don't fit that category, so, no, I don't collect them.

Nor do I collect the Presidential Dollars, and for the same reason.
    They don't circulate.

I am planning to collect the 4 coin Liberty short set in proof. Hopefully gold will drop to the point that the mint will decrease the price back under $500 per coin.

I don't know about the gold, but the Bronze Medal series is very interesting to me.

Anyone else still collecting these??? I was in for awhile, but the fixed Mint premiums of around 35% over spot are killing this for me. Just taking too much money out of my coin budget that I'd rather be spending on other coins. Will probably sell off most of them, but will definitely keep a set of the Liberty coins as those are just really cool!!!

Here's my set of Spouses so far:

Im not collecting them... To me AGE and double eagle coins are the only way to go for the gold.....:D IMO I dont think they are going to be worth much more than melt price.....

It is crazy to collect these, the premium over melt is just too high. That being said I am crazy. Every time I buy one of these I keep thinking of the older coins I could be buying (my Barber half collection has suffered greatly due to these coins). In the long run I may regret it but for now I keep buying the uncs (though I would not suggest it for others).
