"strange looking" coin

    This is my most "weird" coin, Maldives 1 Larin 1913. I know it hasn't a high value but I like the strange design. Do you have any other strange coins to share ? :)

    Also called a "cuttlefish"

    This is a small 1 litra silver coin, about the size of an old US 3-cent silver. It is from Syracuse c.480 BC. I place it here because of the octopus.

    Maldive Islands coin.

    Goosen,this coin was struck in Brimingham,England.There is also a 4 Laari as well.There is 100 Laari in 1 Rufiyaa.

    I Have That Coin Of Maldives. The Name Maldive

    APEARS IN ARABIC AS "MAHAL DIB" AND THE COIN SHOWS ALSO "MINTED IN 'MALI'..." FOR "MALE" MALDIVES CAPITAL.
