    Thanks for sharing!!! I eat and drink Roman Republic coins for sustenance.
    They had me at the picture before the story:

    This was an ancient coin collector's stash. Coins of all the different players in Roman politics at the time!

    I read about this recently...So awesome a find.

    I think they need to glean whatever research they can about the hoard info, and then repatriate them into my collection.

    Mwuhahahaha!

    I did find it funny (in the linked article) the mention of “Augustus Young” - I’ve yet to see this moniker before.

    Perhaps they were thinking of this guy?
