    What you are seeing didn't happen at the mint, so these things are either classified as pareidolia or post mint damage.
    You can post a pic if you want but I doubt it will change the answer.

    First, welcome to the neighborhood!

    Don't feel bad about it. You're not the first person who has been afflicted with pareidolia. The problem with so many of the newbies to numismatics is that they are drawn to looking for errors before they even try to learn about the minting process. It's just something that you can't learn overnight.

    Every die is inspected before it is put into production so this could not be from the Mint. What happens afterwards in anyone's guess.
