Superbowl sunday has provided cover for yet another fake to be listed, this time a 1794 Dollar. Has the typical applied/ painted rust toning which looks unnatural. The coin appears to be of pot metal and not silver. Also the details and engraving are just wrong, the whole look of this coin is completely off. Its been up for 4 hours and already has 7 bids at $127 Could we get a couple reports and take this down? Well, at least the listing notes that the seller is unsure of its authenticity. Better than the guys who purposely leave that detail out. He even put it in the condition section, so you don't have to scroll down to the bottom of the description to read it. Yep, a fake, but a seller who isn't being deceptive.
They even say :" Since I cannot guarantee authenticity of this coin please assume it is a counterfeit or fake.I Do Not Know!!"
