coins enclosed in case

Saw these while browsing large cents on e-bay. Looked to be a bit over $20 melt value to me so $15.50 shipped seemed reasonable. https://www.ebay.com/itm/224334222584

Ummm that is only $13.21 melt value (war nickel, dime, half dollar).

 

Agreed with above, but still not a bad purchase.
Do you plan to keep in the case? I would keep the case and put my most brilliant coins in it, have a little set to display.

 

you are right! Thought the Ike was a 40% er. Not so much

 

I've done something like that before but with foreign silver coins. Oops

 

Dang, I wish I had a nickel for every Cu-Ni foreign coin I picked out of a junk box, thinking it was silver...

 

I hate when they make the same year silver and non silver..
