1963 Frankin Error ? What are these lines ?

    1st Franklin.... I would say was from some type of die repair to fix a clash or other flaw....marks left from this process

    2nd Franklin ....Post mint ..all the way

    Its common knowledge to the Secret Service . They came knockin on my door last week looking for the (3) 1933 St.Gaudens I have stashed away.;)


    Oh & Im about 25 miles away from Woodvile - so my degrees must be off or your locator is wrong.:whistle:

    My first impression was a reeded edge contact, but the lines are too close to the devices. As there are 3, this must have been on the die, I'm guessing someone messed up the die polishing procedure.
