The $1.00 note you pictured with the "multiple overprints" is not a genuine error. Here is how you can tell: 1. The signatures, legal tender clause, Washington, D.C. and the series date are part of the same plate that the frame and Washington's portrait are on. All of these elements would appear more than once. 2. The Federal Reserve Seal on the left is printed at the same time as the serial numbers and the Treasury Seal on the right. All of these elements should appear more than once. These and similar fake error notes can be found on Ebay.
