I recently was reaquinted with some old friends and the husband has had several bad stokes and it just about 100% bed ridden. Me and the wife have been trying to help the wife as much as we can. Helping with house maintenance and the like.
Yesterday she she tells us Her husband had a safe and she paid $250.00 to have someone open it and there was a lot of coins that she knew nothing about but would like to sell but is worried she'll be ripped off if she goes to a local coin shop or pawn shop.
I quickly scanned what she had and it appears to be mostly common date circulated silver coins from the 50's and 60's.
My question is is ebay the best way to sell this stuff as rolled common date dimes or rolled common date quarters? Of coarse I'll go through the stuff and make sure she doesn't have something more valuable by itself.

Probably so if you wish to maixmize realizations. But bear in mind that they should only be sold by an established seller with a good reputation if you wish to maximize.

Best shot (and minimizing costs) pull the junk silver and sell it to a coin dealer.

Then put the others on FeeBay.

    good luck.

mjpm.com pays pretty good prices for junk silver. At the moment there buying at $9.39 and selling at $10.39 per dollar face. Silver content at %9.98 per $.
