I reciently had some silver rounds and a kodak z812is camera stolen from my house. Please keep an eye out for ebayers selling cheap buffalo silver rounds, walking liberty rounds, and 1985 miner silver rounds. If you see them selling cheap, check and see if he is selling a camera too. I doubt this will help, but I have to try. Thanks Ray
Sorry to hear about your loss. I would go to the local pawn shops in the area and let them know, so they can be on the lookout.
Sorry Man... My first childhood collection was ripped off and I did not collect again for over 40 years. Traci
Took the words right out of my mouth Mike. Alien....great movie and so ahead of it's time. You can still view it today and not be disappointed with the technology......except "mother" is now a laptop.
Oh yeah, keeping an eye out for buffalo silver rounds on ebay... That will be a little difficult... We can keep an eye out, but the only way we can actually find out if this is the guy, is if he sells the camera, the buffalo, walking liberty, and miner silver rounds, all at the same time. Which is why it is always a good idea, to keep the coins hidden good... Or have them in a safety deposit box. I have mine hid good, just fine, and I don't think anybody would be able to find them, let alone get passed the guard dog.
Just curious so we can all learn from this, where were they stored in your house that a burglar found them? I agree with T$ a SDB is probably the best option, if its not an option then a Hidden TL-30 or better safe bolted to a cement slab is the next best with a dummy generic safe in plain site in case they make you open it.
They (the coins) were hidden on top of the grandfather clock behind the decorative trim. I was getting ready to take them to a safety deposite box. The camera was out in the open.
Oh okay, that makes a little more sense Well I am sorry for this happening to you, and wish ya' all the best
I have an Australian Sheppard, they are very close to their owners, and get mean in their later years.
