im fairly new to collecting so please bear with me :) i have a 1/10 oz krugerand from 1997 that was the 30th aniv. special proof. cert says max coinage was 750 and the box is stamped 714, but i have been unable to get any real answers on it from either of the coin shops here in town.. they both glanced at it then said" just a krugerand nothing special" then jus kinda walked off and left me standing there. i guess im not convinced and am not sure how reputible they are based on their responses. jus wonderin if its has more value because of the incredably small mintage or not. any info either on the coin, or dealer behavior in general would be much appreciated. Thanx

I took a look in Krause it has two types of proof Krugerrands listeds for 1997. One with a 30 anniversary privy mark and one without. My Catalog is a few years old but at the time the privy was selling at over three times the regular proof.
