I knew I had a link to a list of TPG'ers with photos of their slabs, just had to find it. http://coinauctionshelp.com/page16.html
I'm going to have to get together with him. He has several companies I haven't seen before, and I have several companies that he doesn't have listed.
These guys are crooks! STAY AWAY! First tele-contact offered rolls of BU Franklin $.50 at 2X going price. After I refused they switched to gold. I ordered $5 gold piece ON APPROVAL. Price quoted was $995 (when the price ends in 95 you know there's something wrong). They charges $1195 on my cc. Talked to "Ray" who promised an immediate refund when the coi was received. Send item back certified mail 06/08, got signed receipt 06/10. No redund yet. callec their 800 475 8199 number and got no answer.
traci I've reworked and refined my slab pic since that one was posted. Here's the latest rev......:rolling:
So is there a branch of collecting that involves collecting slabs from all the different grading services?
There is only 1 person who does it to my knowledge, Conder101. He has even written a book on the subject. And is member of most coin forums, including this one.
Honestly, I wouldn't buy anything from any telemarketer. I hate telemarketers, period. You should get your phone listed on the Federal Do Not Call list. ................................................................................................................... i'm not sure if it would work in america but years ago i was a salesman for "encyclopedia britanica" (50 years ago) when we got an abusive call we left the 'phone off the hook, we were told that doing that tied up the abusers phone line for as long as it was off, it's just a thought. mike. ps. i only lasted 2 weeks before i came to my senses. :vanish:
