Going live on Instagram around 4:15 EST with some LIVE CRH.

I just got back from 2 miles of walking with a box of quarters. A mile there to dump my old box, and a mile back with a new one. Lucky? Probably not, last box was a bust besides a few 2020 D quarters I didn’t have before.

No 2021 from the ends. Box dated Jan 28, 2021.

@EBS_numismatics on Instagram to watch and chat with me. Feel free to request to join and we can show our collection to my small follower group. Would love to see some of you hop in!

    thanks,
    Evan

You should post some updates over here for those who don't particularly care for Instagram.

    Of course I will, ;)
Just trying to be "cool" although that's kind of hard to do and be a coin collector hahahah

@Mammothtooth witnessed me pull a 1985 S impaired proof. This alone makes the box worth it to me. It will go along with my 3 other impaired proofs, two of them being silver proof

Honestly, nope. Now I have to wait a week before the bank will let me go back for more. I quickly check every coin with quarters but take much more time with cents.

A couple of pretty nice 80s and 90s quarters. Good enough to replace a couple others I have.

If you still have the quarter hunting bug, you could always request a large number of singles from your bank and try this.

    1. Insert them into random campus vending machines.
    2. Press the coin return button.
    3. Rinse and repeat as many times as desired or until the machine yields the desired results.
    4. When the machine starts giving back dimes or nickels, find another machine.

You're right, I used to do that years ago. I forgot that was still a thing.
I used to go to the vending machine at the ice rink after practice and it would give SBA dollars as change.
