as everyone says, it is best to grade it in hand, but from the photo, I would I would grade it ms-63 pl (posssibly dmpl), that said, try looking at the coin from different angles, sometimes doing so will reveal features that are not evident from other angles.
My guess, based upon the marks on the face and under "PLU" in "PLURIBUS", is MS62, with a shot at MS63. I don't see anything in the images provided that leads me to think the coin is PL.
I'll go with the crowd, MS-63, but in the opposite direction, kind of.......I'll say it may have an outside shot at MS-64 due to luster, strike and/or eye appeal (all photo dependant).
I would say MS62 at best weighing it heavily on eye appeal there are some pretty bad bag marks on the key areas particularly the face & neck area.
IMO, MS-61 or -62. Numerous bagmarks in the prime focal areas (cheek, in front of the face and behind the head).
I would grade her a MS 62 There are a lot of bag marks and blemishes on the focal area the cheek on the obverse, The fields seem to have a fair amount of scractches also on the obverse The eye apeal is fair due to all those bag marks on the cheek . I don't see any indications of a proof like surface The reverse seems to be in better condition ,with an MS 63 grade. This is a split grade coin to me 62/ 63 of course the lower grade wins which to me is a MS62 Jazzcoins Joe
MS60's typically look as if they have been badly mishandled. That coin is not nearly baggy enough to merit a grade that low. Here's an MS60:
IMO it's a MS62 due to the distracting marks on the obverse in the focal areas. It does have a nice strike for an O mm. That would keep it from going lower. Bruce
No matter how well struck a coin is, if it has enough or bad enough flaws/marks/problems, it can certainly be accurately graded below MS62.
I think it can get a 63 with that eye-appealing luster still on it. It's a close one, though, I agree with the consensus, there. Regardless, nice-looking coin.
