Harp was current from 21st June 1632 to 11th July 1633, not 1633-4.

C-R beside the shield will be C(arolvs) R(ex), not Charles Reign.

Welsh silver is denoted by a plume above the shield on the reverse, so this will have been sourced elsewhere.

O/wise ok. A decent round coin of full weight.

Thank you for that assessment - it pleases me greatly. Obviously you do not wish to reveal your real name, and that is perfectly fine, but I would appreciate a brief outline of your background and expertise in this historical period and British hammered half-crowns. Not that I question your knowledge - you have validated that by the information you have provided so far - but I may seek more help from you (please) in the future.

If you would prefer to not broadcast such information here, please contact me via Private message and I promise to hold your personal information in the greatest confidence.

    Once again, thank you,
    James
