By accident, I came into possession of a Peace Dollar that has no date. On the reverse (under United States of America) it reads, ".999 Fine Silver". Would I be correct in assuming this is one of those commemorative coins printed by the Mint since 1983? Sorry, I don't have picture taking capability yet. Thank you.

No you have a peace dollar silver round.
This is a round, with one ounce of silver, that was minted by a private mint, and is worth its silver value

No. It is not a US Mint product. What you have is a silver round - 1 oz. of 0.999 silver struck to imitate a Peace Dollar.

Is it a Liberty Dollar? The ones made by the guy who just got indicted?

I believe those have dates, so probably not.

Thank you all for your input. I couldn't find anything about this coin using the Coin Talk search mode or the Google search, so I really appreciate the help.
    Thank you.
