SBA Type I or II 1981-S

    Hard to give a definite based on the scans but it looks like a "clear s, type II". Looks like well defined serifs on the s. I hope I'm right, they fetch a nice price!

    The name clear S is a misnomer for the '81 type 2 as the mint mark for both type 1 and 2 is clear. The difference for the '81 type 2 is that the ends of S are almost bulbous whereas the type 1 is not.

    Hard to say for sure based on the pics, but I think this one may be a type 2.

    So, best guess is that it is a type II, so how much is it worth?
