I do truly hope that this OP is legitimate. I do not understand why people visit this site to lie to us. I hurts my feelings when people try to fool CoinTalkers who are so welcoming to new members and young numismatists.

He will probably never come back and be with the other 1,000 or so ghost profiles.

TBH, I wouldn't blame him after reading the responses to his post. He's new (aka "unfamiliar") with CT's common practices (ie; photos of coins you're excited about), and he got blasted for a full page. Not a very warm welcome on our part.

But I do hope he returns, with photos of his newly slabbed DD's. If he doesn't, I'll understand why, and give him the benefit of the doubt on his coins.

If he doesn't come back but they are the real thing, we will surely find out about it anyway. 2 new 58 DDO's show up in the pop reports and for a coin of that rarity the TPG would almost certainly do a press release in the numismatic community.

If you click on his avatar and look at his postings, he shows a photo of a 1958 Doubled Die Lincoln cent. Problem is IMO it's not a DD.

I searched his postings and found the images. You are right not a DDO, common machine doubling.
