I have a I think 1996 dime with raised edges and am wondering about how much it might be worth. I also have a dime that has nothing on it and is blank and was never made into a dime and I was wondering how mmuch it might be worth if anything.

Can you post any pictures? The coin blank is not worth much (maybe $3 - $5) unless its a pre-1964 silver planchet. The 1996 dime may be a coin struck with high pressure, but without seeing it, its hard to guess.

I can't get a good picture of it but it is actally a 1999 dime and the blank is not silver.

All dimes have "raised edges", a.k.a. design rims. What distinguishes yours? Unstruck dime planchets are worth a few dollars, nothing more.

Is reeding present? If not, then the coin was altered outside the mint. If it is present, then this may be a case of finning of the rim. Under abnormally high striking pressure, metal extrudes into the narrow gap between die neck and collar.
