Hello, I was looking through my usual rolls of circulated pennies, and this showed up. A 1968-S Double die/Double stamped penny. I'm hoping it to be DDO, rather then double stamped, but you be the judge :)

Tell me what you think. Thanks.

If it is the DDO -1, the easiest seen doubling is on the "In God We", and it isn't very widely separated. So concentrate photos ( maybe through your loupe or magnifier) mainly of that region. A photo of the date and "S" would help to determine possible MD.

    Hi Jordan,
Yeah , sometimes we are limited by our equipment. I really can not tell for sure from the photos I am sorry to say. I will have to pass on a opinion.

Yeah, I tried taking it through my 10x magnifier, but my camera never really wants to focus through it.

If possible use the macro setting on the coin. Approx. 5-8 inches from object should work. DO NOT ZOOM. After a clear pic has been taken, use either camera zoom/crop or once on your computer try to zoom in. It's worth a shot and hope to see a clearer pic.

The first pic is great, just the top of the coin is in a shadow. Try to take another pic like the first one.
