It is amazing how many items we have in 2009 to keep up with....I got 4 rolls of DC quarters and sold one at my coin club auction 2 weeks ago and it went for $15.50. Considering there are no fees, I'm quite pleased. I'm putting another one up tonight. 4 prez, 4 Abes, 6 Quarters, Dimes and nickels that are scarce.......how do we think of anything else this year?

The Harrison bank rolls are cheeper at my bank......face.

I picked up another one last week just to have to sell later if they ever spike, and if not, I'll spend them.

    mint news

I just hung the phone up with the mint. I canceled my Tyler dollars because I to was going to be a flipper.
I talked to the nice gal on the phone about the penny madness that has been going on. I asked her about the special limited production set that was going to be released with the four one cent coins minted in copper and with the one dollar lincoln silver proof. She mentioned that on her latest delivery date list that that item had been removed from the delivery schedule for this year. She didn;t have more details. IF that is true, that really sucks. The set that I was looking forward to this year.

Cost me $22 to ship back 42 JK2s. Thats better than getting a beating from Ebay which I was about to do. The ONLY reason I bought these was to have something decent to sell until the "Collectors Gold" became available. The annual AGE's and Buffalos are usually both on Ebay or Heritage by this time of year, but not this year......I think I'll stick to those and leave all the rest alone....
...and most important don't take my advice on anything coin related :eating:

Anybody buying the "POLK ROLLS" ?????

    I'M NOT.....which means they will make 1,000 rolls combined.....

I just canceled my order as well. As the Mint is getting a lot of returns and canceled orders, maybe they will list the Tyler Rolls for sale again!

    Now you tell me! :crying:

Thanks for the hot tip :thumb: -- I'm going shopping! ;)

But, more seriously: live and learn. If it were this easy to make money, everybody would be doing it, and then none of us would be making a lot of money, and then we'd stop doing it, and then . . .

And then when they sell out a 3rd time, the price will go up to $100 a roll and we'll all kick ourselves.......:::::::evil laugh::::::::

Chief: $22 sounds like no insurance. Isn't that a bit of a risk on $1600 worth of rolls?
