here are some more coins from around the house. these are just sets from franklin mint ect. but most of the pics of some of these coins and others i have been told were polished,,are they all?
Would need a close up of individual coins to be sure, but no not all shiney coins have been polished Now this coin is proof As you can see it is shiney but that is how it came from the mint
lol i have posted closer pics of individual coins and three due to their age, have been said to be polished. when one has a coa from its mint(franklin mint) and the others came from places similar..the far shots were taken for efect only to show the whole set.
Well like I said in the Cameo tread all those were cleaned , I also think the IHP on your avatar was cleaned. We would need closser pictures to assist you further..
Problem is the Franklin Mint did not make ANY of those coins so a COA from them only means that the coins are genuine (something which isn't in question.). It has nothing to do with whether of not they have been cleaned or polished.
No to answer your question, but alot of the coins I have come acrossed are polished when you get them in circulation The only real polishefd coins is a proof with mirror surfaces but the mint uses a special solution for that look there made special for coin collectors.I would say it's very possible you have a couple of proofs in that lot ,and maybe some unatural polished coins. Buy a Red Book and read it thoroughly, it's a great start. You have to familiarize yourself with each type of coin and their details. It will take some time but you will learn quickly. You have a lot of nice coins, read, read, read! :hail:
