just picked up this beauty tonight

i have mostly been focusing on small sized notes. i would pick up a large sized note here and there. well i picked up one today that i have been wanting for a while. feast your eyes on this beaut.:bow::bow::bow:

the back is amazing and the script on the front is just awesome. i am so glad to add this note to my collection

That eagle is tough looking! Amazing engraving! And there's some nifty old Latin phrasing in the flowery old seal no longer in use, THESAUR AMER SEPTENT SIGIL (Seal of the Treasury of North America) Cool pickup!

 

Wow....I've never seen that note before. I really LOVE that reverse. I'd love to see some of our modern notes get back to stuff like that....

here is the note in hand. man this thing is a true work of art. its the new #1 note in the collection. i think it could have graded a little higher. its a lot closer to CU
