Well, I have no idea how this is gonna work without an extreme close up view, But here goes. I was looking at some lincoln cents out of some circulated rolls, and this caught my eye. I was looking for a mis-clash die on the edge, but over to the left a bit, I saw a faint D....(This was all through a 10x Maginfier). Then, a little farther up, a P, or possibly another D. You can barely see it without the maginifier. I tried my best, tell me what you think. Thanks!

=( My camera doesent work to well with closeups, but if you move your head farther away from the screen of the computer, you might be able to see it.

    Jordan,

Try taking the pics by holding the 10x Magnifier to lens of your' camera or even a 5x Magnifier if you have one.

I copied and pasted the top picture to my' PC and cropped it to make the phenomena more visible. I lean sort of towards Just Coins assessment but feel that that these spots may not be anything more than just a discoloration caused by contaminants!

Well, It probally is nothing, upon closer examination. The best way I can describe it is as a burnt P & D...But take a look just in case =).

    Thanks!

Nope as I said ealier it'd and obticle illusion it,s just dirt all dirt which is making that image look like that and the more you want your mind to see the P it will look like it ,because the mind can do it, and play tricks like a mirage in a dessert
