Years of the Nickels are, 1897, 1903, 1906, 1908 and 1912. Paid $6 for the entire case of nickels and $20 for the cent. I'm thinking that this was a good deal?

Not bad - I believe a few dollars too much for the 1844, not sure what was done to it. I like the liberty nickels - good start to a collection.

The cent looks to have been cleaned and has some verdigris. But anyway, not bad for a start.:thumb:

Pictures kind of dark here. Nickels were a good deal. Not sure if I'd go as high as 20 on the cent.

    Agreed on the cent.

edit: to add, here's mine, I paid 20$ for it as well.

Oh, I never realized the headband said "Liberty". Thanks for the pic

The "headband" is actually a coronet (a type of crown).
