Nice, Imo it looks like a die clash. I'm not sure exactly how the dies line up, does anyone have an overlay?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it would look something like this:

I think it's a well placed die gouge Pinocchio nose there's a nickel I have like that. I don't see any indication of a die clash at all

After doing the overlay I'm going to agree it's not a die clash.

    I'd say a gouge. Here's a odd one also.

Hey Mike, great overlay. Could you do this with the LP2? I believe the OP said that he was going through a roll of LP2s when he found these spike noses. What would cause that in the second lincoln?

A die gouge would cause that in the second coin and the third and the fourth and so on untill the die was changed or repaired.

    Rock

What ever it maybe Die Gouge or Die crack is getting smaller each one I find in the roll.
that why I think it maybe a Die crack.

That's interesting that it's getting smaller as you search the rolls a die gouge doesn't work like that I think now i'm just speculating with this ,it makes me wonder if it's a die clash after all, because they get weaker the clash as each coin is stuck I think, That's not a die crack there is a point at the end of the image a die crack doesn't have that it;s a thin raised line and this is thick in it's nature.

I have a question for you Jello the image I boxed in red is it raised or incused?

Wow lol I was off yesterday . Here's a hint, if you're looking for die clashes make sure to use the right reverse :D. Thanks for pointing that Jacer, I don't think I would have caught that, anyway here's the right overlay.

Btw after seeing the second one Jello found, it does look like a die gouge imo.

I would love to see the LP2 in this form. Can you do an overlay of the LP2 also.I have a coin I just sold and wish I had that before I described it.But the clash I think I had was either a gouge or a clash. That overlay would have helped.
