Today was an interesting day at work. Yesterday we were shorted our 2 boxes of cents from Loomis. Today they brought one in. I opened the safe, and low and behold it was a box of 2009-P Formative Years. I immediately staked my claim to it. I called a co-worker in the cash room and said holy crap look what I'm about to buy. She said she wanted to split it with me to give to her husband for Father's Day. I didn't even hesitate to tell her it wasn't a problem and we agreed to split it. We sent someone to the bank next door to get a box of cents so we wouldn't be short cents for the weekend. As they were gone I was thinking how I'd love to have the whole box, and I shouldn't have been so nice. As fate would have it, the person came back from the bank with another box of 09-P Formative Year cents. We were both extremely happy, and we both got a whole box. A great day indeed! :high5: BD
I am stoked for you but I don't really understand your story. We were "shorted"? Assume you work at a bank and Loomis is the Guard/money delivery company? Thanks for clarification.
Shorted means we placed a change order and they didn't have any available on Thursday. They brought the new box (they still owe us one) today. We have already paid for 2 boxes, but they only had one available. It all comes out in the wash.
Man, you are so fortunate. CONGRATS. Now go back to that bank and please, please buy two hundred more boxes of 2009-P's for all of us. LOL:thumb::mouth:WOW!!.
Actually the bank that had the box acted like idiots, and had a problem with us buying a box from them. I will be speaking with the manager of that bank on Monday and explaining what happened. Were all pretty tight in the shopping center, and I will boycott that bank if she supports her people. If she understands my frustrations and have more I will buy all they have! BD
