I just purchased two1936-S Buffalo nickels. Which one would you pick for me to include in my collection ? They both look pretty good to me. Can you rate the one you pick ?
I wouldn't pick - you should. Now my personal opinion is on the top coin the color looks off to me, tick marks on the rim, but more detail than the bottom coin. I do not like the rim on the top coin. I like the bottom coin better, fewer problems, but lower grade. Just my opinion.
i like the top one, though I can't see much horn and some rim wear on the tail side, I'm going to see if a VG (or a conservative F) is correct or not based on other comments.
