That is a pretty sweet coin. You sure it is orange glass? I thought usually mints would use some kind of semi-precious stone.

The latter; Belarus does not have any circulation coins. In this "Fairy Tales of the World" series the obverse is always the same; two children sitting on the moon and reading a book. The tale depicted on this coin is "Simon the Musician", as kvarterto wrote. Yes, it is very beautiful. I have one in the series Kvarterto speaks about and it has a blue triangular zircon, and I am not positive but pretty sure Jessash1976 is right about semi-precious stones. I know mine is a zircon, I would bet this is ? dang, the name of the stone escapes me right now, but I will think of it.
