This is the same coin I posted yesterday. Been trying to take a better picture...played with Light-Effects, etc...Don't know if this is good enough.
What do you think? Are these pics better? Maybe next time I'll try to take them under natural light.
    What's the Grade?

Your photos are playing tricks on me. Some of them make it look like an MS63 and others make me think it has a shot at MS64. Given that, I will say a solid MS63.

    Thanks for the replies.
Is it the angle of the pics or mostly my poor lighting, or both? :desk:
In the future, would close-ups help?

I will go with an MS65 there are not that many bag marks or blemishes on the fields of this coin both sides. the focal areas are good a nice strike eye apeal is fair

I'm going to day MS63...just like I said before. I don't see a luster break over the ear and knowing about the strike of these coins it leads me to believe there is no wear. The weakish strike is typical for a 1900 (P) issue and is not a result of wear. But, too many marks on the obverse to grade any higher than MS63.

Dang! This thread was an eye-opener! I learned in three minutes what it took me three years to figure out by myself!
