After looking at 4 Morgans and using the Van Allen encyclopedia, I think I ID'ed two of them. This is an 1889-CC Morgan (NGC G-6). I see it as a VAM 3. Did I get it correct? it's definitely a VAM, but I'm not sure what type it is, I'd suggest looking on ebay for books specifically on identifying the different types of VAMs, I can't name any titles right at this moment, but if you look on ebay, you should find some books that would help you identify the different types of VAMs. PS I would have suggested looking on Amazon, but while they have fairly good selection when it comes to the general coin collecting niche, when you get into subniches, like the VAM Morgan dollars, they have almost nothing to choose from, so your best bet would be to search on ebay for coin referance guides.
Don't have time to look tonight but here is a link to all of the '89-CC Vams on VAMworld you should be able to pick out which one it is: http://www.vamworld.com/1889-CC+VAMs Good luck
