Post your proof/PL coins that are pre-1936

They don't have to be certified just need to look proof or PL i don't have any but I know some of you have some nice ones.

My avatar coin. It didn't grade PL but it should have.

 

I don't have any pre-1936 but I DO have this...

 

Just two years off the pre-1936 Mark, a 1938-A 1 Reichspfennig, with PL surfaces. I haven't seen any others like it.

 

The LS Dollar is not graded PL but it has Near-PL surfaces.

 

Wow...that is one gorgeous coin, Sir.

 

How about a new category, APL, Almost Proof Like?
Talk about splitting hairs.

 

I have a few Morgans. I quickly took these at an angle to help see the mirrors. I’ll try to go in order.

78P 7/8. I know about the wheelmark, which basically disappears from this angle (right in front of her mouth). But this coin is absolutely PL. I also think this would have graded MS65.

80s. I think the + is for the reverse. The best mirror I have ever seen.

And my favorite. 97 s. The coin in my avatar. Came in an Anacs 64PL. I thought it was undergraded. ICG gave me the 65, but ripped me off of the PL. oh.... it’s definitely PL

 

Wow. I can certainly understand having a meaningful relationship with those ladies!
