Those are funny. I can get some of those rare edges at work.

 

As for the first: sure I see the extra leaf, there are some on the right and some on the left sides. Silly.

As for the second: he says: "so I am a professional coin. " Gee, I would really prefer to deal with a real human being, not a coin.

It is amazing what science can do today, teach a coin to type!

 

What they are just die chips to me or maybe a hit in that area that's all it;s not a variety at all these die chips end up in the weirdest places and course a lot of trouble there like little pests like roaches.,The poor person who bidded on this coin is really being ripped off.

I have collected Dimes of all types for 45+ years this one is a 1st. I agree with JC it is most likely a Die chip or a Die crack:kewl:

 

I think that's just a typo, shouldn't have the i in the last word.

 

If it was an extra leaf I'm sure by now someone would have noticed the variety on others. I agree, die chip.
