    Hi

Im new to this forum, and after reading some posts I decided to look my small coin collection and I found an uncommon quarter dollar coin. It doesnt have the eagle on the backface, it has a guy with a drum; and in the other sice where the date suppose to be it reads: "1776-1976". I guess it has something to do with an special american date. Im not american, so thats why I ask. Here are the pics:

    Thanks

Yeah there are billions of those out there in the States, most held onto. Issued 200 years after the founding of the United States. What country are you from?

The funny thing is I just picked up a bank-wrapped roll of those quarters (plus a roll of 1976 halves) from an estate yesterday. I'd sell each roll at 10% above face! :p

one tip....if that coin was a un-circulated coins here in a few years you would have a nice finger print on it...the best way to hold a coin is by the rim...or on the edge...
