1968D/D to SE

    Nope I think it's a die gouge and also some scratches that;s what it looks like to me

    Just what I was thinking, a well placed die scratch and/or die gauge.:thumb:

    So, how did the left part of this "scratch" get placed on there?

    By a heavy handed mint worker I imagine. That would be flat part of the die, the details would be incuse in the die.
