This is the first email (below), that I have received notifying me about product delays. This must be something new they are trying to do for the customer. This email concerns the 2005 Coin & Metal Set that I have ordered and in process at the mint. Just wondering if anyone else has received such an email? I also got that e-mail from the US Mint today. Luckily I ordered 15 sets and have already received 10 of them. I guess I'll have to wait until September for my last 5 sets.
I got a problem...need advice. I finally REC'd he rest of my set's and they were packed in a box that is too small, and were crushed. I believe they may be returns because of the way they were tore "out". My question...If I send these back, am I going 2 get NEW set's or returns? TIA
That's a real shame Gary. Did you call the Mint? IMHO, at this point I doubt that they have any fresh sets to exchange for yours and you'll probably just get more returned/damaged sets if any at all. Your chances are far better at getting a refund at this point.
Just got Shipping Confirmation email!!!!!!!!! Holy Carp, I don`t beleive it!!!!!!!!! Says My 5 Sets shipped today 7/15!!!!!! There is hope!!!!!!

May 27, late afternoon. I had forgotten about when they went on sale, I thought I was SOL when I ordered May 27. The delivery push back dates I kept getting seemed to confirm this. Then I saw the emails posted above, I didn`t get one. REALLY thought I was SOL, till this delivery confirmation pooped into my email about 10:30 PM.
Good deal. I ordered mine the 27th also and mine were delivered yesterday. I guess if you ordered later then that, your waiting. Thanks
I ordered my 5 on the 25th, the jerks sent 3 the first time and the last 2 were destroyed. So u guy's that r waiting r prolly going to get rejects. I'm done w/ the mint. %^*^ jerks
I wonder if they will start sending emails about the mint sets also? I see the expected shipping date has yet again been moved back. I'm glad my 1st sets were on subscription. I never thought it would take so long to get mint sets!
Yeah, I was thinking returns as well. How did the mint screw this whole deal so bad. This, and their website fiasco. Some heads need to roll at Treasury.
Yup, I got the same "delaying" E-mail the other day, too. September??? That's ridiculous. So, I'm still watching and waiting......
U guy's better call the mint and tell them U want NEW set's...not return's, don't let them play dumb.
