I am assuming that this is nothing, but i am curious to see what people here think. i have looked on the internet but cannot seem to find anything like it. the edge is thinner than a normal dime and the thinning seems to be very uniform on the front and back. the stamp is P and the date is 200?. I figured i would check here before deciding it is just a normal dime and letting it end up in my kids piggy bank. what are your thoughts? Thanks.
looks like someone wanted to make a razor sharp dime sized American throwing blade! I really don't know. :goofer:
Pretty much, It is post mint damage... It might have been caught in a counting machine, or done intentionally, but it was done post mint.
looks like somebody used some serious sandpaper to do that to that poor little dime and Rosie don't look to good POST MINT SAND PAPER DAMAGE DAMAGE JOE
