From reading the annoucement, does only one thread per week get the thread of the week? Or is there 2nd and 3rd place prizes?
You get a TOTW award, I think the for the top 3, but I could be wrong My TOTW Award was number 2 So I think if there is an award for number 1 and 2, there is bound to be one for 3

Hello tmoneyeagles, Are the TOTW votes tallied from Monday to Sunday? I suspect that if you are really interested in winning a TOTW award, then you should post on Mondays so that your thread has a full 7-days to rack-up votes. The thing is, I'm pretty sure I won 3rd place, and I reviewed the awards and apparently 1st, 2nd and 3rd get awards. I just checked my thread on counterfeit detection, and there is no 3rd place award on it, or nomination. Is this because I edited my thread with more information?
I don't know, check the announcements, and go to last weeks TOTW award thread... And see if you got one of the first three spots, and if you didn't you didn't win an award Collect89, that thread was from a little while back

Hmm well that is odd maybe it is because you don't have more votes than the remaining nominees plus the rest that have 2 votes and 1 vote... I don't know...

Well you can't let some silly award define you, you wrote a great thread, and in my mind you had a TOTW award, and everybody who voted for your thread, or even read it, has learned a little something
