    well.... new to me :)

    I think I'm going to concentrate on this series for now. Seems 'doable'.

    I bought a 1900 $5 gold piece while in college in 1963, for $19.95. I still have it. I was going to buy an Indian $5 piece like the one pictured, also for $19.95. Money was tight. Didn't do it. Wish I knew then what I know now.

    is it graded? it looks like it is in a pcgs holder... if so what grade?
    looks good! the indian is one of my fav. coins!

    It's a beautiful coin. It's tough to ruin gold. The 1911D looks a little less "doable" to me than the rest of the series if you want all MS coins.
