RIGHT! Anyone gonna tell us what the heck happened?!?! Ps, I learned how to crochet in my down time away from CT today
I felt like the 3 legions in the German forest. Marching deeper and deeper, getting quiet, no noise but the rustling of the breeze. Darker, narrower, then nothing.........
I'm just getting on. Not to put too fine a point on it, WTF? ....Honest, if anyone at IT could tell us Anything, it would be cordially appreciated.
...Well, as long as you're in vintage video-game world, at least you can shoot down the aliens. ...Regarding the other contexts, mm, not much help.
If I was to guess, I would say it was the archaeologists! These guys have it in for us! Perhaps they thought that if we cannot talk about them, we won't bother buying them Joking aside, I was getting 502 errors so maybe the server run out of juice. I blame @DonnaML and her thousands of posts!
Have no information as to why the site was down for so long yesterday but did look like perhaps a DDos attack - but just a guess. A very appropriately named website can give you some info in these situations.. go to the link below, plug in any website address and it will tell you if the site is up or down. Letting you know if the issue is your PC/network or the site itself. May save some needless troubleshooting on your end. https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/
My answer to EVERY technical issue to to turn off and on. It works 50% of the time. Of course it did not work with CT yesterday.
I cleared caches on my browser. I must had coincidentally did this, because I started to get access, albeit spotty. Then, miraculously, I was able to fully access: Nirvana!
Yes. It happened to me yesterday and I thought that the problem was my own computer.. A virus for instance. Thank God every thing is OK now.
...Yeah, I was dealing with all of that, but may I insinuate something on a more anecdotal note? I have to stop and restart a couple or more times a day. Got this antiquated desktop, first machine I ever bought new, but now definitely showing its age. At random intervals the keyboard goes haywire (only online), and I have to drop everything, pin whatever's going on, and go back to Square One. ...Still waiting to join the second decade of the 21st Century. ...Got my first cd player in the '90's; guess a measure of lurching progress is being made.
