    I want the Cherrios Sac.

I read that there's no chance and several people have verified. As I recall, these were first stikes so the chance of the mint using a proof reverse die is virtually nil.

I went and looked at NGC cenus and every coin that NGC has graded "CHEERIOS PROMOTION" has been grade as "Close AM"

I was lucky enought once to find a cheeros sac and cent package.

The coin was sent off in the original packaging to pcgs where it graded 67, but the cent only graded 63 red... wierd.

That is an intresting question about the cents in the packaging. I have 5 or 6 at the shop and i'll see if I cant check them out when I get back into town.

    Not change the subject

I send this 1st Ngc and it came MS-65RD. then I showed to my friend he said no way is that an MS-65RD then he sent it with his monthly coin and he is a owner of one of North Alabama larger coin shop and came back from Ngc MS-67RD . I think who is sending matter's. I think sometime TPG will give a higher grade to customer that 20-25 a month graded that someone like me who only send in maybe 10 a year

That kind of smacks of favoritism and implies that NGC grades according to "customer"? I think NGC might take exception to this innuendo since grading is supposed to be "anonomous".

I don't agree!! I have gotten many Top Pop coins and I am not a dealer. Grading is subjective and is not a science!!

one thing I have learned in 45+ plus years of collecting is if I want a higher grade on a coin is have one of 2 large shops submit them not
here is one more example this was graded Pr-66 Cameo I had a well known Coin shop resubmit the half

I'm with jello. I believe that both PCGS and NGC do show favoritism. There is, however, no way of proving any of these allegations and so I don't dwell on them. I do work in a coin shop, and when the owner sends stuff in to be graded, he sends them through a frequent submitter.

Oh wow!!! Are you still lucky enough to have the Sac? From what I understand, MS67 is a pretty good grade for that sac too.

No I do not still own the piece. I had a local customer who just happened to be doing a regiesrtry set. I owned it less then a week once iut got back from PCGS. MS67-68 seems to be about the grade that these things come out of the packaging at.

Not to get too personal, but do you mind pm'ing me and letting me know what one of these bad boys goes for? You just don't see them on ebay and when they do come up on Heritage, they sell for my yearly income. Thanks. :hail:
