here are 2 notes i just recently picked up. sweet Gem CU 2006 *COLORIZED* $5 Chicago FRN's radar and repeater pair. enjoy:smile Radar #40244204 Repeater #40204020
Nice "matched" set. Any idea how these high quality bills get into collectors hands? It can't be a coincidence that the same numbers are involved.
i would assume the person i got it from had gotten a brick of $5000 or more and picked out these notes. i have a few pairs like this one that have the radar and repeater. most of my examples are $1's so its nice to get some $5's :thumb:
a radar is a palidrone. It is something that reads the same front to back as back to front. Radar is a palidrone. 12344321 is a radar, 40244204 is a radar. Do a search of posts made by a member names 'Numbers'. He hs given some nice definitions, and even some awsome calculations with the odds of finding a radar ect. basicaly, a radar is found in 1 out of every 10,000 (give or take a couple lol) notes.
Nice, loving that serial number, 40204020... NICE RADAR MY MAN! And be careful, running with those, is like running with scissors! LOL
lol yeah they are pretty sharp corners. these might go into the pile to send out to PMG. i saw a few like these getting 68's and 69's
