    Hi all,

    I have some Banknotes from Israel and I would have like you to help me validate them - by condition and by value. it is important since I would like to have these kind of notes and I'm not sure that I realy know their Price.

    to this message I enclosed:
    1. 500 Pruta Bank Israel 1955
    2. 1 Lira Bank Israel 1955

    Please validate the notes and let me know what grade are they? and how much they costs in their grade?

    Thanks,
    TQ

    I would say between VG and VF now these are only a guide not set in stone prices

    p24
    500 Pruta 1955/57
    vg = 2.50, VF = 12.50, Unc = 55.00

    p25
    1Lirot
    vg = 3.00, VF = 15.00, Unc = 65.00

    p26
    5Lirot
    vg = 4.00, VF = 20.00, Unc = 90.00

    p28
    50Lirot Red serial number
    vg = 20.00, VF = 70.00, Unc = 200.00

    Which catalog you refering to?

    Thanks for valuating the notes!

    I would be glad to know from where you get these prices? which catlogue are you using? I never seen prices like these for Israel Banknotes.

    Maybe I need to update my sources and start looking for myself :)

    I would be glad to have more info about the prices and how much should one pay for these notes.

    Thanks,
    TQ

    awsome ntoes tq! i really love the vintgettes on some of those :)

    as for De Orcs source, i think he is using the Standard Guide to World paper money. The same source most of use use :) If you are to get any book on world currency, i would suggest that series.
