Picked up LP2's in change

At a restaurant tonight, I received my first Formative Years "Log Splitter" penny. I then asked if they had any rolls and they had two and I bought them. I already sold one for $2.50, and will keep the other.

I've been getting a good bit of the LP2's in change, but have still only found 1 LP1 in change.

 

It does seem like the LP2's made it into circulation quicker, doesn't it.

I wonder why?

 

I got a lp2 also the other day. Traded it in a give a penny/take a penny jar actually! :thumb:

Still only three of the first one, and two of those came from the bank that they had got in change.
