I had been using catawiki auction for alot of roman coins, its super easy to use like a ebay auction, you pick a current roman coin auction to bid, fees are not bad but over sea's shipping is costing me $100's. . I decided to try a couple other auction sites and hibid was sort of overwhelming with only a few roman coins showing on my site search and the list off a bunch of future auctions that said nothing of foreign coins had me jump over to sixbid site to try and it seemed easy till I hit bid and then it was giving me a bid sheet I had to confirm and when I went back the item still was 10 euro bid when I bid 27 euros? Is this some sort of blind bid site? I am going to have to find another easy auction that does Roman stuff. (Besides ebay of course) I may just be better off sticking to the verified coin seller sites for now.
What is your question? Is it about why the your bid of 27 Euros isn't registering immediately? Most likely it's because the confirmed bid sheet still has to be processed by the auction house. Time zone differences. Also, if you haven't bid with this particular auction house before, they may ask for references before accepting your bid.
