Does anyone see anything wrong with this coin? I got it from Heritage for a lot less than I figured it would go for. BTW, they're pix.

Well, on the reverse, I don't see that much of the rim, on the right side
I see the rim, and then it either gets bigger, almost looking like cud, or it is gone..
It is a nice RB coin, and I think it looks wonderful, although I want to ask, wheres the rest of the rim? (And also from the pics, the S looks faint)

It is very common for that to be weak particularly in early coins. That point is opposite the shoulder and there is only so much metal to go around.

Oh! That makes sense! I have a 1943 that looks like that.

One I recently aquired. It's a slabbed coin so it is hard to get a decent image of the full coin.

Another one from my friend Charmy

1927 D MS 64 RB. Sorry for slab scratches. I will send in with a few others to get into the new holders. I really like those now at NGC.

Here are my latest couple. Any comments welcome.

BTW, the grain is there, but not nearly as obvious as the pix. You really have to look to see it.
