    They are not sold out...
And that has 3 days left to go, it will get to around $20
I got $18 on each of my sets, and I ended up braking even.
I got burned, win some, lose some..
Should'a bought the Tyler rolls, not the LP2's...
I'll be buying the LP3's are hoping for a sell out

I put up 4 sets I had because I thought the price was going to start to drop, I got lucky and all 4 sets sold for 26 bucks, but I agree with T$ the average price is about $18-$20.

I sold 3 sets for what I paid for the 5. I just watched a set go on ebay for about the same as issue price from the mint.

I think that's the smart move. Why compete with the Mint? In other words: why sell them before the Mint sells out? I think the only way to make money was/is either: (a) be one of the first to get them, and sell it as "in hand" while others are selling as pre-sale; or (b) wait until they sell out, then sell them.

    My two "cents"

not only is the price on the LP2's dropping, even the price on the bank rolls are dropping. I find it odd, the second issue has been a lot harder to get in my parts and seem to be more scarce. I guess the novelty and the newness of the series is starting to ware off.

I've been selling them for 19.95 to 24.95 a set with free shipping. I'm not making much but I'm still ahead. Why is the Tyler rolls so hard to get? I guess why the change in the dollar program, they use to me like clock work like the quarters. You could always get them at the banks. If elaine is around what are the updated mintages on this years business strikes?

The first run of a new design alway brings in a larger premium then the rest. It is not surprising that LP2 is not selling at a larger price and I think the price on Ebay will stay around $15 to $20 for the next three sets just like the 04 Nickels. I will wait until all the set are out and then sell them as a 8 roll set, that might bring a good premiun. But only time will tell.

But as far as the mint being sold out of the LP2 that is wrong, they are only behind on their orders and the coins will be available for shipping 06/19/2009.

I only bought two sets and sold the first and ended up making a few bucks. I have the other and am watching the prices to sell the other one...
